for my job qr is important. in special siemens devices offer qr to get quick details and more. and we use qr for stickers on our products. we dont care if customers wont use them, but we offer it and our customers are pro's (industry). for any other my personal usage is limited.

I never really thought about this subject that much, because I almost never use QR codes on my mobile phone. But good to know that this has created yet another attack vector for hackers.
On work i received a mail not to use unknown QR or unknown or unsecure sources. with an example for ms authenticator. i did not use it although i have it installed.
