Just noticed that media hardware decoding in Firefox is missing when sandboxed. Is this normal?

    Sandboxie Plus 1.12.5 (64-bit)
    Firefox 121.0 (64-bit)
    Windows 10 22H2 build 19045.3803 (64-bit)
    AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor
    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 video
ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero motherboard

    Firefox media hardware decoding unsandboxed:

Ha! It's a combination of different software and codecs I've installed over the years. AV1 I installed recently because Firefox 121.0 now supports it. FLAC was installed a while ago when I was ripping CDs. I also use MPC-HC media player which also installs additional codecs.

For me it shows everything as unsupported, even all software decoding :argh: Obviously incorrect, it plays youtube just fine.

There is something buggy (with about:support?). One moment it shows for me nearly all supported like for DjKilla (I only have VLC and aimp on win 11). The next hour I check it it only shows H264 as supported. FF 121.0 SB 1.12.3. Since I can still watch everything I want I don't really care as long as stuff works :D

I noticed as you visit different web sites with pics, video and audio, then check about:support, the media section will populate. So Firefox seems to activate the codecs as needed. If you see video playing on your screen when you visit a web site with audio, that seems to trigger it.
