Win 10 Globe shows whilst Booting to to Desktop Systray

Hi All

I have Win 10 Desktop PC, ethernet connected which over the last few weeks has started to show the Globe in the Systray as opposed to the Network icon. After PC is booted Globe disappears and Network icon returns.

Anyone any ideas why. Is it Win 10 Update related and is it problematic. Internet seems to work OK.

If the internet is ok it's not likely a problem. I have seen similar behavior caused by 3rd party security software.

An interesting read but that was for Wi-Fi and this is Ethernet.

 

If you can still access the internet I wouldn't worry about it, as it's not causing any problems.
