Yes, this is a current work in progress. We'll start again with a new set of BETA tests

Did you check the portable version as well? To reproduce this behaviour I downloaded a fresh copy from the Adlice homepage...

Small preview of the next BETA. Community updates were not this obvious, now marking them.

    Excellent

On that topic, I've been trying to find an color-coding listing of which is what (as there is a lot of color compared to SUMO it's not clear to me which means what), but failed to do so in the documentation.
Am I looking in the wrong place or is this piece missing?

I think the tooltips on each color will help you.
    (EDIT, in Installed tab)

I also do not have the Update option in the latest installed version 5.0.4.0.

Sorry all, I should have mentioned. "Update" is expected to be "silent" action for the user, so it requires admin rights (click on UAC button in the banner) just like the bulk updates button

Or you have changed the sorting :)
Try to scroll right to find the column that is used for sorting...
You can also make the window bigger/wider.

Now UCheck will display "unsupported" programs for Portable apps. Until then they were ignored.
We'll add some guards to limit number of items, in case the user decides to add random folders like C:/Windows :D

    @Tigzy
For "Unsupported, Portable" or just "Unsupported", will UCheck be able to suggested that it might be outdated if enough community info sees enough users having a more recent version of the application. For example, Sysinternals Autoruns, when a new version is available, let's say 14.20.0.0, and enough people are reporting having version 14.20.0.0 installed on their computers, UCheck would suggest that it might be out of date.

UCheck would probably not be able to offer the download, install and update, but we would know to update it on our own.

And thanks for all the efforts you guys are putting in to help us replace SUMo
    GREATLY APPRECIATED !!!

Just curious as to why all this interest in this software or SUMo? I just use the "winget list" command and get al the updates in two seconds.

Yes, that's how Community feedback works. It's going to have its own stuff for portable apps. We need to do the server-side for it now

Many people don't like using command line tools. Also I doubt Winget handles that many software, because it requires developers to register themselves.

Is the beta still 5.0.4.0? I uninstalled the installed version of 5.0.4.0 and downloaded the beta. When I run it, I don't see any portable apps other than AdwCleaner. I do have some. What am I doing wrong?

It's not handling portable stuff like SUMO did for sure, other than that it works pretty decent on installed applications but I use WingetUI for that :)

@Tigzy proxy bypass issue wasn't touched in this release I assume? (at least it's still there).
