I am a former SUMO user and switched to UCheck.

Now i have some questions regarding the UI:
    1. It would be very suitable to have some keyboard shortcuts (for Scan for example).
    2. The program list and the update list fonts are quite small for my eyes. An option for bigger fonts would be apprediated.
    3. In the update list it is quite annoying to press everytime OK when i want to exclude a program. A mode with checkboxes on the left side of the list would be good, so i could check those programs i want to exclude and then hit the OK dialog once.
    4. After installing a program manually i have to hit Scan again to see if the program is dissapeared from the list. A Scan button in the left pane would be good so that i have not to change from the update list to the dashboard, hit Scan and then go back to the update list.

    Thanks.

what does a blank status column mean under Installed?
Any command line parameters planned for the portable such as /scan to avoid selecting the scan button in the GUI?

SUMo could not do much than what was in its database either. It's exactly like our community database.

This is legacy link, it's not removed yet, probably will soon regarding the amount of tickets we have had recently because of this guy.

Maybe I misunderstood, but this 5% is not just for BETA. Yes it's has its own incidence, but the main goal is to make sure we can trust the data.

Based on conversation I had with Kyle, I think SUMo had this delay too. If one user shows up with a new version that will not promote it in SUMo either...

I'm not sure I understand the motivation. Unsupported just means there's no DATA for this software, but it's still important to show it's installed on the machine.

That should not happen with 5.03. I think what was pointed out is that the "Latest" is wrong because there's a newer version available.

I have removed this version from the database. But there's no guarantee it doesn't show up again

Yes, still have some issues with opening web browser. I'd be happy to work with someone that can reproduce the issue...

It means there's no data for this program, it was not recognized in our database.
For CLI, the only way is to have a Tech license: https://www.adlice.com/ucheck/cmd/

    Hi Tigzy,
Unfortunately there is not much to be reproduced, but if you need some test from user, I'll be happy to help. Just tell me what you need.

With a very quick check I've found this:
In some cases there may be conversions of the contents of links or messages to the MHTML (MHT) format and then opens the program associated with that type of file, normally Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge.

    @Tigzy
    Another very basic remark
    Cattura.PNG
We have here 2 programs with community data (HiBit and Kodi) and one compatible (calibre).
The links on HiBit and Kodi are not working, while the link on calibre works with no issue.

    Worth checking.
    Hope this helps

Only compatible programs have specific website, license and download links.

In lieu of having specific links, updates for community programs will display a link "Open website" which should open a web search for the program, On some user's machines, the link opens their default browser but without the search terms. That is a known problem. In those cases, the user will need to manually enter the search terms to perform a search.

Exactly, there's a "threshold" in usage that creates a smal delays (from minutes to a few hours)

What I wanted to say is, that's the same what happens with BETA drivers... If it's above the quote it will be seen as a "newer version"...

Do you think you could grab a process dump from it ?

    Hi Tigzy:

My UCheck Free Portable 64-bit v5.0.3.0 is currently reporting that my Malwarebytes Premium v4.6.4.286 [fully Compatible (purple)] and MS Edge v118.0.2088.57 [Community (grey)] programs are up-to-date ...

UCheck 5_0_3_0 Malwarebytes and MS Edge Not Detected 21 Oct 2023.png

... while SUMo correctly reports that Malwarebytes v4.6.5.293 (release notes not posted <here> yet) and MS Edge v118.0.2088.61 (rel. 20-Oct-2023, release notes <here>) are the latest version.

SUMo v5_17_10 Malwarebytes and MS Edge Detected 21 Oct 2023.png

A search of the SUMo server currently reports that over 60% of users in the wider SUMo community have already updated to Malwarebytes v4.6.5.293 (see <here>), and that over 50% have updated to MS Edge v118.0.2088.61 (see <here>).

I imagine that detecting the latest available version of Malwarebytes [a fully Compatible (purple) program] by your bot is especially difficult since I find that there are often long delays before Malwarebytes posts release notes or updated MBSetup.exe full offline installers (https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb4_offline) for new releases.
