Sorry, on my laptop with several browsers, all with uBO, it works as it should be. Have you tried disabling cosmetic filtering?

a dime for me for each issue concerning uBo and vivaldi.
someone posted a link with a comparison chart where other blockers interfere with uBo, vivaldi blocker is one of those although not listed.
no problems for ad[.]nl here although i have a better blocking than default.

but the image show another fact - there are no "premium" articles shown where should be.
guess why, i dont care, but it may a cause for the rest of issues.

in fact on your side vivaldi sucks a lot and this for a long time. you are better to run without ublock instead spamming threads with your problems - or start each issue a new thread, but this is pretty pointless.

Sometimes I see a lot of Sponsored entries in Google's search results depending on what I search on. Does anyone have a Firefox uBlock filter to share that suppresses those sponsored entries at the top? I've already turned off or paused whatever I could in my privacy settings.

No thanks, I don't want to do a reset to factory defaults and not know which default filter may have corrected the situation if at all. In the meantime, enabling Easylist fixes it, but it is quite large and I don't want to use that. Easylist minified does the job as well.

Easylist is one of the default filter lists. If you disabled it and changed it for something else, perhaps you were missing filters for sponsored entries in Google search.
If you'd rather not use Easylist or Easylist minified, I guess AdGuard Ads would do the trick, but I cannot say, I use Easylist. Perhaps someone else can tell you.

So do I. No sponsored links in Google search here. Even uBO default settings/filter lists should be enough to block such links.

The size doesn't really matter. uBO deduplicates filters in the activated lists anyhow, and a few (or even many) thousand filters more doesn't affect uBO negatively performancewise.

As I mentioned, easylist minified does the job as well for me and I am using that. Thanks for the replies.

UBlock Origin & filters not loaded at browser startup

Keeping the Internet sane and quient. Here's a short article about filters not being loaded properly for the UBlock Origin (UBO) adblock on startup in Chromium-based browsers, practical privacy implications, mitigation using the extension built-in network traffic suspension before filter loading, and more. Enjoy.

    In the article, you wrote:
"I don't know why this issue occurs in Chromium-based browsers. I've never seen it take place in Firefox, although the extension options are the same."

    From the uBlock Origin wiki:

i only know about one (!) current issue for firefox, and no solution yet. i never had, anywhere, anytime, any browser. if, those users should deploy any informations they can, i am very sure, that such issues are not caused by browser.

The same applies to me. I also had wondered about the issue whenever I start Chrome.

So thanks for your interesting and useful article, @Mrkvonic . :thumb:

Yes, I also found the article in #7614 interesting. Well gorhill has always stated that uBO works best in Firefox. Here, the lists load seamlessly and I never have to wait until it's "all clear.":thumb:

When this started a few weeks ago i checked the .. Suspend network activity until all filter lists are loaded. After a few days i unchecked it because i didn't care. I am only on the Chrome startup site for a few seconds before i go to a bookmark and all the filters are loaded already.
