I just discovered the Google Docs extension today (thankfully not activated) and uninstalled it. I have never visited Google Docs, so apparently Edge is adding it indiscriminately.

I just added your Grayware List for UBO and Chrome. Will it cause any surfing problems.

In addition, they just give more and more control to Google since both Chrome and Edge are based off of Chromium. And when Google decides to push something horrible (like the "web DRM"), everyone else either follows suit or their browser can be blacklisted.
Sadly, the overwhelming majority of browsers are based off Chromium. To me, using Firefox is a matter of principle, first and foremost.

I have that list also since several months and never had a surfing problem. But the "worst" site I venture to is Yahoo, whatever that's worth.

Why is Yahoo a bad site. I have Yahoo as my startup site in Chrome and use Yahoo mail.

"Worst" is a relative term. Yahoo is not a "bad" site in that sense of the word. There's a lot of yap about Kardashians and other dubious figures but I was making a relative comparison to say, CNN site or something similar.

uBlock Origin blocks a lot of links embedded in a number of Yahoo articles also.

Thanks. I use it for heavy-duty web surfing and rarely encounter any breakage, but if you find a problem please feel free to open an issue at the Github page. I usually fix any problems within 2 days. (I typically have more site breakage from Mozilla's "tracker blocking" in incognito mode.)

The site I use to test ad blockers is tmz.com, which typically shows 50-60 blocked elements in uBO :D

yahoo got an ad spreader since it overtook several sites and even more when itself was overtaken.
i causes pointless redirects to its terms, you cannot filter this crap and thus you get ads later.
its not locked here, but avoided.

This site must be the worst in the world. My UBO count is up to 270 now. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/ushome/index.html

I got about 120 on there with FF in incognito mode, which blocks a lot of those before uBO can get them.

thats why i have disabled any badges for blockers. i dont care. and if i care, i would use the logger which one. the badge is pretty pointless unless you know whats blocked - and the bade wont show. waste of time to watch badges.

I just clicked on that link and UBO count was 122 but if i stay right there after about 2 minutes the count goes right up to 270 for me.

Well, it's the Daily Mail. Are you really surprised? Don't know if it is the worst site in the world, but it's definitely one of the worst papers in the world.

I would like to use Firefox, but to me it's crap, Vivaldi is way better and they did disable the new Google Topics tracking system, so apparently they still got some control over certain Chromium elements. But yes, it's a very bad situation. Did you also read about Chrome now offering a realtime anti-phishing feature? Sounds cool, but they will now openly track every website that you visit. :argh:

How so? Which Chromium features do you use the most that aren't present in Firefox?
