If you install a beta does it update back to the stable version when released or are you stuck on betas?

I'm atm not using the desktop version but afaik if you switch the "update channel" settings from "beta" to "stable" and let adguard search for updates it should offer you the latest stable version. At least it worked this ways months ago if my memory is right.

Ok, thanks. :thumb: I hadn't noticed that in the settings but there it is.

What does a license have to do with the forum?

Product support forums are becoming unnecessary nowadays, everything is moving towards social networks and AI support. I'm not saying it's a good thing, but unfortunately we have no choice but to get used to it.

Even if forums gets close, I still wish companies will let people access (as read-only) those forums.

There’s a lot of good and valuable information that gets lost

I'm afraid it won't happen, at least not as straightforwardly as we are used to now. Primarily they'll refer you to the socials/AI support for help, maybe if you dig more on the support page you'll get to the old forum.

@Azure Phoenix It's worse than I thought. The old forum has completely disappeared. You can't get in. It's a shame.

If you click the discuss link in the program it takes you to a page with Telegram, Reddit, and GitHub links. Better than nothing.

Yes but we were talking about the old forum that could have provided valuable information. My problem with all these new social/support sites is that they all require an account to post there. So I prefer email communication, which is what I do now regarding Adguard VPN for iOS, they reply the next day at the latest.

I'm unclear on the difference between the AdGuard Browser Extension and the AdGuard Browser Assistant. Does anyone have any info?

The browser assistant is a helper for the Windows app. The browser extension is standalone.

Depends if you want DNS filtering or not.

I use the Cloudflare Public DNS service & the AG DNS Filter.
