Not the first time I've experienced this with IVPN. It was happening intermittenty here.
(I have a few Vpn's at the ready in case one has issues)

I've been using Mullvad on and off for quite some time and have been happy with it, just preferred IVPN.
I still have Proton and AdGuard VPN for backups.
(A five year license for AdGuard VPN at 8 bucks a year was hard to pass up)

Awesome setup, similar to what I had in with Windows 7, EMET and other tools. I'm in the process of designing a brand new configuration following Zero Trust Architecture as much as possible using Windows 11 Education and TPM 1.2. Also using Edge as default browser and Firefox for privacy if requested. Love the details you included, so I can use them as reference for my own.

Currently trying out this combo on a Windows 10 install:

    Sandboxie with Firefox forced
    Windows Firewall Control
    Kaspersky Anti-ransomware for Home users
UAC set to max and Defender enabled

KAR looks like an interesting behavior blocker, uses KSN/local rules for blocking all sorts of malware. Also has an option for checking executable files being written in the downloads folder. It only blocks malware, not remove the files.

FWIW (shrug), PC Magazine gave a less than flattering 3/3/23 review for F SecureSafe. All by the way...

Ya might wanna be super-careful if and when you decide to uninstall Windows Firewall Control. The app wore me out clicking to approve MS and a load of other legit apps; after which it managed to block my Snagit screen saver/edit app and render it inoperable.
Even when using the all hail-to-the-high-and-mighty (according to apparently quite a few posters here) HiBit Uninstaller, the removal totally bricked my internet connection. After spending way too much time wankering around and tinkering with the box,
I finally deactivated the Windows Firewall and rebooted twice to reestablish the connection. Good luck and continued happy travels.

Thanks, but they also recommend McAfee and TrendMicro so their opinions are irrelevant for me at least.

Its funny, tested Trend Micro Cloud Security and ERD solutions...well the system got infected within 4 hours against bazaars samples. No good at all.
The same samples against HEP...instantly "killed".

WFC do you mean Windows Firewall Control by Binisoft (now Malwarebytes) or just windows firewall?Because i don't use WFC and if is the case for Windows Firewall i've never had any issues.

Sorry, I actually got the abbreviations mixed up. I mean just Windows Firewall. I had, in another pc with 10, conflict between Windows firewall and Comodo firewall: Windows firewall was always disabled, but in some way it was all the same in conflict with Comodo. I couldn't update 10, and only after I uninstalled Comodo and clened the system I could do a clean install of 10. I wrote somethign about in a thread here in Wilders.

Before update my laptop to Win 11 on Win10 never ever had problems. It is said though, and this applies not only on CFW software, sometimes depending on the machine. For some reason the software works flawlessly for some users (my case) ,for some even they reinstall Windows they still have problems.
PS.I am using on my old laptop (Acer Aspire 5750g from 2012) Kaspersky Free with CFW without any issues whatsoever. Same Win11 with latest updates and the last version.
