Thank you. I am running this in portable mode on Win 7 x64.
I see that the Firefox 114 fix "NormalFilePath=\Device\Null" was added to [TemplateSModPaths]
which is used by orange (security enhanced) and red (security and privacy enhanced) boxes

Browsers (latest and older versions of Firefox, Chrome) cannot run in Sandboxie (Compatibility is enabled) if the latest stable or beta version of HitmanPro.Alert is installed. Older versions of Sandboixe could not either.

 

I was going to announce the official Firefox 114.0.1 release was out on their FTP site but I knew you would say it was a RC or beta even though it was official. So I waited for it to show up on their web site before mentioning it just to make you happy. I also mentioned it here since Firefox was causing an issue when combined with Sandboxie.

 

Now the problem is with HitmanPro.Alert. No messages, no warnings, just browsers won't start with HitmanPro.Alert in Sandboixie, even though compatibility is enabled (yellow and red window).

 

[Edge] sbox = no sound. Any ideas how to fix?

~ my long time [Edge] sbox went wonky. Calling Edge from Edge desktop shortcut into [Edge] forced sbox like I've done long time causes Edge to get stuck = Suspended.

I created new [Edge] sbox shortcut from 1.9.7 as work around.
No sound is head scratch.
Edit: sound okay from [DefautBox] &or new [Edge2] sbox.
