I have no problem when I open Firefox without Sandboxie Plus. It opens in Firefox 111 and runs normally. When I open it with Sandboxie Plus, it opens Firefox 105 and then tries to install an update. When I run it using Firefox 105, right clicking and then attempting to open link in new tab doesn't work, though I can copy the link and paste it into a new tab. How can I eliminate Firefox 105, so Sandboxie Plus v. 1.7.2 opens the current Firefox?

By the way, I completely uninstalled and then reinstalled Sandboxie Plus, and nothing changed.

I just fixed the problem by uninstalling Firefox and doing a fresh install.

Here's what I did to solve this: Update Sandboxie-Plus and then use a program like Patch My PC to update Firefox.

seriously? firefox has a working updater (maintenance service) and firefox itself has an update routine if not present.
such stupid updaters you named do not respect installed language.

For me, it updates to English but that goes back to German after a restart.

The maintenance service doesn't seem to work if Firefox is sandboxed unfortunately.

that may happen, but firefox is able to update itself without service, no need to install. but - any silent installation will install the maintenance service, and some software updates do it this way. and as mentioned some only install the english build.

its nice to have an informer about updates buts its clever to decide yourself which one is applicable.
even KC SUMO is/was not perfect for this case.
