    @stapp, thank you very much for your information. I did not get rid of the error message despite repeated start and installations. Now I have uninstalled SB (keep boxing) and reinstalled 1.90. And now everything is ok again. Do you now have your red boxes with the new driver without many entries in the Sandboxie.ini and without starting errors and dropouts? I'm already looking forward to 1.91!

    My red (and blue) boxes work perfectly now with the new sbie.dll. Let us see how it works out for you when 1.91 comes :)

    @DavidXanatos Just noticed you have updated templates.ini
    Perhaps you could also add support for catsxp :)
    Code:
    SpecialImage=chrome,catsxp.exe

    Isn't it being recognized automatically already?
    Technically most of the SpecialImage entries could be removed now as these should no loner be needed and detection of firefox and chromium based browsers now happens based on the loaded dll names.
    can you check if sandman corectly recognizes these browsers in the latest build?

    I removed "SpecialImage=chrome,catsxp.exe" from my global settings and catsxp loads/runs fine.
    I have had no problems with other chrome based and ff based browsers that I run. These include (on v1.9.0):
    Chrome based: chrome.exe (chromium),brave.exe,catsxp.exe,
    msedge.exe (on win10),vivaldi.exe,slimjet.exe,opera.exe
    Firefox based: mypal.exe,mypal68.exe,LibreWolf.exe,firefox.exe

    Just seems a bit odd that in red and blue boxes Windows Explorer is offered in the Run.. Standard Applications menu, when it is impossible for it to run.

    When you say it works do you mean you can access Picture, Documents etc because I cannot.

    OK, as of build 1.9.0, yes there's a tiny flashing yellow square on the tray icon, telling you there's a new update available. What if you don't care to update right now? What if you want to wait until another build comes along?

    I clicked on the little update window--do not show this message again but the little square continues to flash there. I access the system tray frequently to check some hardware things and immediately, this catches my attention. Is there any way you can disable this as an option in the settings? If not, OK, it's not very important. But it would be nice....
