Sandboxie-Plus 1.8.3

    It still shows 1.8.3 in GUI but if I try to run a green Edge box I get this. Yellow box works in Edge.

    Tried everything but I cannot get 1.8.3a.
    I went back to 1.8.1. and it offered me the 1.8.3a update and I successfully installed it (or so I thought)
    But it still shows 1.8.3 on GUI and Edge only open via the Green Box.

    Update: Checked the 'Support & Updates' tab and it says I'm currentlu using version 1.8.3a. Edge seems to be working now in the orange (Security Hardened Sandbox) box but the hidden taskbar issue is still there for Firefox, Thunderbird and other Mozilla based programs. Kinda driving me crazy now having to keep pressing the windows key on the keyboard to bring up the taskbar to start another program or check the time. Taskbar works great in Edge or any program that's not Mozilla based coded programs.

    Is v1.8.3a of the sbiedll.dll labeled version 5.63.4?

    Edit: And is this the only file I need to replace in my v1.8.3 folder?

    Thank you! I've literally done everything to troubleshoot including fresh clean installs of each Sandboxie version, sandboxing all kinds of programs, adjusting settings for the taskbar, rebooting the computer and just about everything else. Strange thing is, this only affects Mozilla based programs in Sandboxie 1.8.1 to 1.8.3a. Anyway, thanks again and I'll continue to check if the issue persists in newer versions of Sandboxie.

    1.8.3 working well with Firefox and Brave on Win10 64 bit machines.

    On a Win7 32 bit machine no problems with Firefox but Brave will not open. Brave.exe starts in Sandboxie Manager and then shuts down without opening.

    Any advice? Or possibly time to retire Brave on Win7?

    I have the last version of brave portable to support Win 7 on my 64bit machine.
    It runs fine with sbie v1.8.3 (and earlier).
    EDIT: Not sure which versions of brave support Win 7, 32bit.

    Didn't clean install 1.8.3 just replaced the sbie.dll.
    Edge now works in yellow, orange and and green boxes but crashes on a blue box.

    EDIT...After a couple more attempts blue box now opens as well on Edge with new dll.:thumb:
