    Why? I think it is a very nice addition having a choice.

    The Install/Uninstall is broken now with the turned on "Disable Service controls" flag, because Installer can't stop the service.

    I want to remove this flag, because admin can anyway remove the service by:
    - deleting it, so it'll be pended for deletion
    - killing the service.

    Then make the Unistaller to revert the flag silently while uninstalling the firewall, no?

    • UI: Vacuum the DB outside of transaction.
    • UI: Options: Add "Ctrl/Alt + Single Click" tray icon events.
    • UI: Drop Qt 5 support. Only Qt 6 is supported for building the sources!

    • UI: Programs: Group's name reflects its enabled flag.
    • UI: Options: Move "Filter Local Addresses" flag into "Self Protection" group.
    • Driver: Filter local addresses when Fort is not running.
    • Driver: Rework flows closing on driver unload.

    • UI: Load password from registry when "Check Password on Uninstalll" enabled.
    • Installer: Remove password from registry on uninstall.
    • Installer: Optionally remove config & data folders on uninstall.
    • Driver: Improve shutdown/reset handling.
    • UI: Update SQLite to v3.41.2

    blue screen of death while installing version 3.8.3
    Was left with unbootable system.
    reinstalled windows only then reinstalled version 3.8.3 clean system
    blue screen of death no 2 unbootable system again..
    reinstalled windows installed v3.8.1 no issue then updated to3.8.3 and Boom. blue screen of death
    just to be clear blue screen of death happens while installing 3.8.3 it never made to the end of the install... on all 3 installs.

    Boot in Safe Mode and uninstall the program.

    Does it crash with 3.8.2 too?

    What Windows version, 32/64 bit?
    Which Fort Firewall installer used?

    @ tnodir This time I'm I managed to install Fort Firewall v3.8.3 Which was quickly Followed by a blue screen of death. Sent you Minidump.

    Thanks. The bug looks like this one. I've to investigate it..

    BTW, Does the v3.8.2 crash too?

    And are you installing it on some Virtual Machine?

    v3.8.2 dose not crash and its not a Virtual Machine :)
