OK. I guess with CSM enabled, Ventoy is booting in MBR mode.

Have a look at your F12 Boot Menu. Do you see two entries for the Ventoy UFD?

That's why I disable CSM. It removes the MBR entry from the Boot Menu. But that wouldn't help your Ventoy.

I am having problems with a usb keyboard as far as booting ventoy in legacy mode. I have tried several keyboards wired and not with the same effect. What happens is after I choose my boot option when the keyboard is working, I then get to the ventoy menu and the keyboard does not work. Sometimes it does however. It might work 3 times in a row and then fail ten times in a row. Very frustrating. I was having problems the same with easy2boot as well but easy2boot has a workaround of hitting the shift key when you see the first blue easy2boot screen. I could then use ventoy inside easy2boot but I want ventoy to work properly when it is on its own usb stick.
I should mention that both boot fine in EUFI mode. I tried the same workaround with ventoy as with easy2boot and it worked about 20 times in a row. I thought I was onto something but it must have been pure luck becuse now it fails. What I was doing is holding the shift key down after I chose legacy ventoy as my boot option.I tried timing it several different ways to no avail.
I have no problem with single bootable cd's.
    Stumped and would love help.
This is also a new phenonemom. I have had this computer about 10 years and only recently has this started.

I would definitely look for a BiOS update (if you haven't for a while) for the 10-yr old machine. I've had lots of "mousey" issues with old BiOS and most were solved with updates.

PS- there is also a VENTOY discussion Forum HERE if interested...

I just started playing with Ventoy and made a default install testing with a BootitBM install iso. It works with a few glitches that someone may have already resolved. My HW setup is all MBR and I use BootitBM to boot several other partitions.

The 1st problem I have is with the Ventoy entry that shows up in the Bootit menu which won't boot. Bootit indicates the boot sector does not support its location on the hard drive. I have to boot with the bios boot menu via F12 for it to boot. After that, I have to manually change different Ventoy settings every time after booting the bootitbm iso. Namely:

F5 (Tools) > ScreenDisplay > force graphics mode > change resolution to 800x600 (1024x768 scrambles screen) > select main menu iso > boot with memdisk option

Can these options be saved as default for a specific iso such as an .ini file for each iso used?
Also, how can I avoid the bios boot menu and just use the bootit menu?

    As an aside:
Rufus does not support booting the BootitBM.iso because it indicates the Image does not have a Boot Marker. Anyone manage to boot this iso with Rufus or explain what the problem is?
