Dedoimedo be pampering himself. This is a short article announcing my purchase of a Slimbook Titan laptop, intended for productivity and gaming with Linux ONLY, covering considerations, purchase experience, hardware specification, upcoming challenges and tasks, and more. Should be fun, lots of fun. Take a look. https://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/slimbook-titan-coming.html Cheers, Mrk
Joxx, think of laptops as a desktop ... except you can drag it around. zapjb, what do you mean by that? Any examples? In general, if you have a modern browser, everything should work. Sites rarely do not work due to user agent, unless we're talking ultra-crappy design. And in the worst case, you can use an extension to fake the user agent (to windows), and then you will be able to do what you need. My experience in fact shows that with linux, you often get fewer annoyances. For instance, you want to download a Windows 10 iso, in Windows you will be offered the upgrade tool, and you'll need to go through a few hoops to get to the actual download, in Linux, it's offered straight away. Linux compatibility issues are not in the web space, they are in the general app space and gaming, if anything. Mrk
