No you can't do that. Vivaldi doesn't have the option to open everything entered into the address bar in a new tan.

I think the Chinese government asked specifically to code an official Chinese OS as they didn't want anything American for local governments. OK I see. Actually, in old versions of Vivaldi you could open bookmarks that were nicknamed in a new tab, but they have removed this option. I agree that Vivaldi as a highly customizable browser should offer this option. But I'm now already a bit used to opening a new blank tab first. The weird part is that Brave decided to publish ALL parts of its browser as open source. Like I already said, Vivaldi's GUI is not open source, which is understandable since it's their unique selling point. I don't see what Brave is gaining by this, it might even destroy their credibility if this Catsxp browser goes rogue. So let me guess, it's most likely spyware?
It's true that there isn't a setting for opening everything you type in the Address Field in a new tab, but you can use the shortcut Alt+Enter to open entered links and search results in a new tab.
How the <bleep> do you get it in 7min?! I, as i said, get it in little more than an hour and after, now, testing several Download Managers, still it takes the same amount of time. So, how??
I presume we are downloading the same portable build? With it being in a different language I sort of guessed. Took 4 minutes this time, I don't use a download manager, just my Vivaldi browser.
Hmm, i can not download anything else then the whole package so i get over 1gb of data which of course is an explanation. How do you do to get that type of download you get, guide please.

Anyone else having problems with downloading the latest version of Catsxp from their homesite? It just do not work for me.

If you've already installed it, there should never be a need to manually download a new version. You can check for updates with Catsxp, or it will do the same when you launch it.
I do all my updating manually. Have you got the latest version .343? It is not possible to update manually today either. Just tried.
Anyone having the latest W11 version and having problems installing Cats installer or online version? I have tried for a week now and then and get the message - failed due to unexpected error.
I was having issues updating to a new version for a while now. It was able to update in the end, by downloading and running the installer. The first time I ran the installer it didn't update, but when I tried again with Catsxp not running, it went fine. When running the installer the first time and also when trying to update via it's own updater, rather than Catsxp asking for confirmation if I wanted to close it because I had tabs open, I received no such prompt and Catsxp remaining running. This is the first time I've had to manually update it. Other than the update issue, Catsxp has been working very well for me. There have been occasional bugs which have caused issues, but the developers have always been quick to release a new version which fixed the bugs.
I'm having an issue with the latest version - 3.10.2. The icons on the tabs are not being resized to fit the tab. I have many tabs open and aside from the active tab, less than half the icon for each tab is being displayed. Most likely it's just a temporary bug which will be fixed in the next version. When I've had issues in the past, they've been fixed with the next release. The update issue mentioned in my last post, took longer to fix, but updates have been working normally again for a while now.
I posted about the issue with the tab icons on their forum. They provide English language support as well as Chinese. They released a beta version which fixed the issue three days ago and now the latest stable version includes the fix too.
