Does anyone here have .NET 6 installed?

You installed it yourself? Not via any update from Microsoft?

I installed it by myself and then updating it every month via Windows Update. For the x64 version.
Kaspersky Free added the x86 version as well when installed. The previous version used v5, but since it is End-of-Life, they migrated to v6.
But so far I didn't have any problems updating it using Windows Update.

The reason I ask is I see that on ScreentoGif latest version Net6 is a requirement.

It sometimes makes me wonder why Microsoft Updates doesn't offer it when it becomes available. Most people seem to still be on NET4

Yes it's bit of a minefield isn't it.
No wonder some folk hate .NET !!

Updates on 2 machines (Win 10) were a bit odd.
It would stop and go back to the default update screen as if they had already installed (I knew they hadn't finished)
On one machine I twice had to select 'check for updates' only to see the list still installing or downloading.
Anyway they have finally installed and I have rebooted without any damage :D

Did you get a .NET 6 update? I didn't, just the one for 3.5 and the 4 series.

    Hi stapp,

Yes, I did receive an update for Net 6. Check the screenshot in my previous post/link and you will see it. But only for the x64 bit version, though.

Didn't get a .NET Framework update for 6 either.

Got the other stuff with only 250 MB or so to clean up. Not seeing where there's anything new to disk cleanup but didn't look too hard. Fast and seamless. :)

Same as @anon. Otherwise unusually time consuming updates but no issues afterwards.

I still get a Windows error about "0x800F0984 0x800F0984 Matching binary: LxssManager.dll missing for component: amd64_microsoft-windows-lxss-manager......." with "Chinese characters"
I see that is a dll related to Linus (that I don't have) so I don't worry.
    Everything goes fine anyway.

Did anybody have any issues with driver updates after this February patch Tuesday? I am on Windows 10 and since last Tuesday I have been getting a weird issue, Windows seems to be successfully installing three drivers daily, over and over again. See the attached Pic.

They are not causing any issues, everything is working properly. I have even disabled the Updates through GPedit, but they still keep on installing daily. Any suggestion on how I should prevent Windows from going crazy like this?
