When activating my computer I immediately get a small windows (in the lower right side of the desktop) saying : "Security Update Almost Complete" as shown on the attached picture.
This windows is reappearing after computer restart.
is it safe or is malware?

Doesn't look very safe to me. Perhaps the Secure Search browser hijacker ?

I don't know. It appears suddenly and I can't remove/cancel it by either restarting or shutting down the PC (I don't want "to touch" it).
As far as I know when a Security program updates it finishes by-itself.
Any idea how to cancel it? I have only Windows Security program installed.

Perhaps a scan with Malwarebytes or something similar.
It may not be a security update, it implies that it is to do with Search.
Have you opened your Taskmanager when the little window is there and see if it lists it, or something like Autoruns may give a clue.

    Hi
    Thanks for your advice.
    1. I first performed a custom scan using the Microsoft Security Essentials (a couple of hours)- no finding
    2. dowloaded Malwarebytes AdwCleaner and run it- It immediately discovered: one Trojan-Agent, one Rogue.ForcedExtention, two Adwares and few PUPs
After transferring them to Quarantine, the bogus windows disappeared.
    Regards
