This thread has been here for near 8. Now the OP can almost double their claim. ---Wow, looking back through this I see a lot of people I haven't seen here in a long time.
coming up on 15 here... I can't begin to remember all of the people that were here then that aren't now.
I look at the numbers of your alls time here and think that you must still be in awfully good health, awfully patient and probably living alone - otherwise no one here would be able to last this long. I was even surprised that I also have been here already 12 and a half years. But I have the advantage that my health didn't hold up in the meantime and I also went once to get to know the situation in another world. Namely, I had a heart attack and died before reaching the hospital. But I wasn't wanted there yet...I mean the another world. I guess I arrived too early.
same here, 14 years now. close to 1.5 decades. i remember what my work was that time, but i do not remember the people at all, only few, and only some idiots, less proper colleagues.
Uhhh .... 21 yrs with Wilders, I think ... maybe a bit more. At age 92+10 months, my short-time memory has become a bit sloppy, but my memory of long-ago events has increased a lot, As one example of long-time memory reappearing at times: One day, while chatting with a granddaughter about her visit to Myanmar (Burma), I suddenly remembered every verse of "Mandalay" -- a fairly lengthy poem that I had long-ago recited to my 9th grade English class as homework. So I recited that poem for my granddaughter in the overly-dramatized, Cockney manner I had used back in 9th grade. My recitation style gave her a laugh -- but she loved the poem.
Hey @bellgamin , Glad to see you're here! I was starting to worry about you after not seeing you on here for a while, especially after the fires on Maui.
Whoa. When did Wilders first go on the air? Was bellgamin the very first customer (before mods and such)? Congratulations nevertheless.
I added some OT stuff to my comment. For shame............. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ @Krusty -- I live on Oahu & so does all my immediate family. Not Maui. I don't post here as often because I totally switched to Linux vice Windows. The only security I now use is Linux's built-in firewall. I still visit Wilders & sometimes post in Wilders' Unix forum. Linux is based on Unix. Wilders & all you folks are still my #1 favorites whenever I go online.
