LMT AntiMalware (Formerly - LMT Anti Logger)

I don't think this was the aim of this app, it's more about behavior blocking. Sadly enough the AV part of this app seems to suck, so that's why I suggested to focus on behavior blocking instead, we've already got many free AV's that actually perform good. This app currently feels like a gimmick, I'm just being honest.

 

I have noticed that the realtime scanner on LMT will interfere with a lot of other applications, any application that scans through files in some way will have a hard time when LMT wants to scan everything. Bleachbit, Ccleaner, MSD's on-demand scans, bitdefender total security's full system scans.

But I did notice that after one full scan from MSD, LMT will have built up a trust list from that and it won't restrict the process of a second scan.

Just be sure to go into the cloud settings and check the setting that says to make a trust list based on virustotal results.

 

Cute Duck engine improvements are still becoming developed.

 

If you are still using LMT AntiMalware, I think you should switch to another antimalware software. There are a lot of antimalware software out there that are much better than mine (of course). LMT AntiMalware services running on Azure will continue to be maintained as well as database updates.
