Thought maybe somebody can see what I am missing. I bought an Intel AX210 pci mini wifi card to replace a much older card. I flashed my bios chip and removed any wifi whitelist - so that is long gone. Computer is working fine on LAN Ethernet or the original wifi card. I had professional help with the bios Mod, and it flashed back perfectly and was verified.

I will paste in various lspci outputs that show the system is seeing the card. I am only going to paste the lines pertaining to the new wifi card's slot on the network controller. Also -k the kernel driver shows iwlwifi support and use below.

    #1
    sudo lspci
03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Device 2725 (rev 1a)
    -----------
    #2
    sudo lspci -vvm
    Device: 03:00.0
    Class: Network controller
    Vendor: Intel Corporation
    Device: Device 2725
    SVendor: Intel Corporation
    SDevice: Device 0024
    Rev: 1a
    ----------
    #3
    sudo lspci -k
03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Device 2725 (rev 1a)
    Subsystem: Intel Corporation Device 0024
    Kernel driver in use: iwlwifi
    Kernel modules: iwlwifi

    Intel states kernel 5.10+ fully supports their card. Bullseye terminal "uname -a" -------- > Linux debian 5.10.0-19-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.10.149-2 (2022-10-21) x86_64 GNU/Linux

I downloaded iwlwifi-ty-a0-gf-a0-59.ucode directly from Intel's website and copied the ucode file to lib/firmware as instructed. I verified its there in the correct place.

After all the above steps failed I also updated the iwlwifi firmware to ---- > firmware-iwlwifi_20210818-1~bpo11+1_all.deb from the backports on Debian just to see if some additional drivers might come into play.

NOTHING on my wifi card!! Kind of stuck here looking for some ideas or something to try. BTW - I have great backups so a complete redo of this entire OS is only a 30 minute write back using Macrium ----- meaning I am willing to try anything reasonable. Suggestionso_O

    Ah, Debian and wifi...
I use a simple USB Ethernet dongle and it works fine.
Any reason to use wifi instead of wired Ethernet?

I also have a decent USB dongle and while it works, its pretty slow. It max's out at around 300-400 meg, but I am on a Fiber line and I want to get the performance I pay for. The USB bus by nature has less than optimal throughput compared to a PCI card inserted in the slot on the motherboard. I only used the Ethernet LAN while I waited for my new card to arrive. I need the mobility around the house. It is a laptop for a reason, LOL! My Debian Desktops are all connected via Cat6, and they smoke on my Fiber line!

SUCCESS!! ------- > I arrived at the solution by much reading. The answer was to go to backports and load a new/higher image file. "uname -a" -- > Linux debian 6.0.0-0.deb11.2-rt-amd64. The new 6.0 kernel instantly connected to the new wifi 6E card. Santa is bringing us a new WIFI 6E router. My neighbors (aka their wifi beacons) are slamming all over my house. Hoping the 6E will help out with giving me less interference. I have a few tweaks to experiment with. Uploads are full fiber output max'd. Downloads are a few hundred meg under max. Tough to tell since my family has a few Firesticks running right now, LOL!
