I'm inclined to agree. Perhaps 1PW, or someone else in the know, can clarify the issue?

    Hello @Krusty:

I have updated your open topic in the Malwarebytes forum with your additional data and requested staffer assistance.

    Thank you.

    @stapp & @Victek:

I totally agree. Like anything else in Malwarebytes' products, the subject of local user's time does call for cautious thought and coding on the developer's part. Hopefully more sustainable corrections will be made for MB4 and the upcoming MB5.

Well, Norton changes with Daylight Savings Time, HMP changes, so does Macrium Reflect, Windows, Linux (various), my phones (landline and mobile), and my TVs automatically update. Up until recently, MB used to as well.
    Exactly, stapp.
    Thanks 1PW!

By the way, my time zone is (currently) AEDT. ;)

Edit: With absolutely no disrespect to AdvancedSetup, it is the same story on both Windows machines so I don't see how logs could possibly help in this situation.

    Cheers,
    Dave

    Hello Dave:

This is one of the times I dislike Friday announcements... I'll see what I can find out tonight and post back.

Thank you for keeping an eye on this. :thumb:

While I don't use Malwarebytes for Win I do have the Browser Guard extension installed, which I'm pleasantly surprised by. Its malware database is well maintained.

    Hello @pegas

The Malwarebytes forum recommends the use of Malwarebytes Browser Guard with uBlock Origin in all of the most popular browsers for optimized protection.

Does Malwarebytes slow down internet browsing due to its web filter? What about compatibility with VPN apps, does it affect them or slow them down?

It's been a while, since I used MB realtime.
I quit, because of massive slowdown while browsing, and to restrictive blocking.

I rate MB still as good second opinion scanner, but not as real time protection.
