    I don't use NoGraph=1
    I really like the graph.

    Same here.
I was just interested about where to place any of the numerous variables that are mentioned in the user manual.

I tried TeraByte QnE Companion about two years ago.
I uninstalled it the same day. I couldn't find much use for it.

These are the tools that it installs.
    • QnE Clipboard Companion
    • QnE Screen Capture
    • QnE Launcher
    • QnE Desktop Companion
    • QnE Icon Companion
The only somewhat useful tool for me was QnE Launcher.

Also, something that bugged me at the time was the fact that it was installed as a taskbar toolbar.
    QnE Companion Toolbar 01.png
It consumed a lot of taskbar space. I would have preferred a single tray icon with the above tools available from a menu.
    Maybe that has changed now.

By the way... With the release of version 1.13, the licensing has been changed.

    It's an IFL bug.
I don't use IFL. I've never felt the need to use it, although I have tested it a few times.

The language that is used in the restoration process confuses me.
So, I just stick with IFW.

I'm in Western Australia hoping to see the Total Solar Eclipse on Thursday so I'm unable to participate in the current discussion. I don't have a computer. I'm sure it will be fixed long before I get home.

You're a very long way from home, Brian. Even on a fast plane. East coast to West coast is a long flight.
    Enjoy the eclipse.

I've been driving for 8 days. 2 more days of driving and I'll be at Exmouth. Just on 5000 km driving since we left home.

    That's a big drive.

By the way... They still seem to be having a few problems with recent versions of IFL.

    hi
i still use 3.56 mostly (sometime 3.57) , because I think they (mostly 3.56 is) are more stable and trusty
about 3.58 and above they have and had bad and serious bugs
I 'm using an older version just because seems bugs free
what do you think ? which version do you use?
    thanks

v3.6 seems good . Yeah there were some bugs in v3.58ish, but with 3.6 it appears to be good again.

    @Brian K
    Hi Brian
    I have w7 64bit installed on a ssd (mbr ) and i wanted to give a try to windows 11 pro 64bit
well I have taken another ssd with an old w7 64bit installation and i have clear with image for linux (i have cleared everything even disk signature)
    so 2 different ssds
I have started to install w11 pro on the second ssd (installtion mbr ) "i have used rufus to install it disabling tpm v2, when i have finished , updated some drivers and I have tried to boot on w7 and it does crash during the boot , blue screen
while w10 pro 64bit has no problem
I guess w7 64bit can see the another ssd with a previous w7 installation , wiped and installed w11
even I have deleted every entries in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\MountedDevices and device manager (hidden items enabled) , it keep to crash , and i have restored an old w7 image and it keep to crash
can I ask you a question?
do you think w7 can see the other ssd ?
and where does w7 or w10/11 store such information?
could be stored in System Volume Information\ folder?
    thanks

    mantra,

With a MBR disk, you should install a Windows OS on HD0, not HD1. If you try installing the OS to HD1, the booting files will go to the Active partition on HD0. So I suggest you only have one SSD in the computer when you are installing an OS. Then that SSD will be HD0. You can install the other SSD later.

With a UEFI system you don't have to remove SSDs to install OS on other SSDs.

mantra, are you using BootIt as the Boot Manager. It is a foolproof tool for multi-booting. I only multi-boot if BootIt is installed.

Does Win10 boot if you remove the other SSD?

OK. Try installing Win7 with the Win10 SSD removed from the computer.

Edit... The Win7 SSD will be the only SSD in the computer.

    Hi
I can try BootIt , i can install only on hd0 , can not ?
even it's not worth , i mean i have played with w11 pro and i haven't found anything , just a more eyecandy os but lame
    about BootIt , can really hide w11 and don't let w7/10 "see" w11 ?
do you have installed several os on only 1 ssd with bootit ,w11 w10 and linux ubuntu (i guess)?
    thanks Brian
