    I'd be ok with that.

I am not colour blind but quite a few people are, hopefully they wouldn't be affected too much by this.

I have color blindness to red/green. If those colors are vivid, I can usually see them OK.

What I find most confusing is when a checkbox is blue with a "-" as opposed to a tick, even though I understand what it means. Personally, I would leave it uncoloured unless ticked; a "-" is very visible against a white or grey background.

I'm not in favour of the colour scheme for deny & allow as I fear it could add more confusion - maybe if the box outlines were coloured though. Might it be better to group the deny and allow actions separately?

I appreciate others will feel differently.

@DavidXanatos I can see the colorblind issue. However you really need to read and twist your mind sometimes
Restrictions (usualy you would think, hey here I can restrict, not unrestrict)
    Other restrictions
    Open System Protected Storage
    Open Windows Cred....
    So here we allow, next
    Block read access
OK now a check forbids something
While the color idea sounds good, another issue might be the logic behind. Does green checked means it will open, or was it open and is not blocked or....

You could do all in restriction.
Close System Protected Storage Default checked
    Close Windows Cred... Default checked

Block read access to clib.. Default unchecked

Just keep the logic in one page or section the same and set the default accordingly.

    Hope that makes sense.

@Survivor yes it makes sense but some of the settings were made like this by the original sandboxie and I wanted to keep them the same way.
perhaps i should add for more of them an inversion in the UI to keep the UI consistent.

I assume you refer to situations like this:

    IFE.jpg

    - "Use", "Show" etc. = Allow/Open
    - "Don't show" = Deny/Block

Generally I am very much in favor of colors and other visual clarifications of settings.
But on the other hand I think that Survivor mentioned a good argument as for some settings (surely not for all) it may be unclear what "green" respectively "red" means:

So to my mind you can leave the things as they are now: Sandboxie's settings are quite complex and users who deal with these settings should be clever and careful enough to distinct for every checkbox separately if there is written "Use", "Show" etc. on the one hand or "Don't use", "Don' allow " etc. on the other. ;)

Additionally of course inversions may help, as far as such an inversion is possible without complicating the meaning of the description for a certain item:
