I can also confirm that the provisional workaround works: no more error messages are triggered and I was not able to provoke a crash. :thumb: Thank you very much for the quick help.

Yes, same here. Thank you for the fix (1.5.0) Firefox 106 runs fine again. :thumb:

Hey David, just a heads up; Firefox 107b1 and 107b2 both revert back to the crashing Utube (at least on my rig).
I did a browser downgrade, reboot and copy profile back to FF version 106 and all is peachy!

    Hello,
I moved the Thunderbird Portable folder to C:\PROGRAMMFILES to run Thunderbird 1.42 with Security Hardened Sandbox with Data Protection. This works fine so far, but when I start Thunderbird Portable, I get the following error messages:

    07:07:31.437 thunderbird.exe (2056): SBIE2309 Could not disable COM+/DCOM: [21 / C0000022]
    07:07:31.687 thunderbird.exe (2196): SBIE2309 Could not disable COM+/DCOM: [21 / C0000022]
    07:07:33.138 thunderbird.exe (9336): SBIE2309 Could not disable COM+/DCOM: [21 / C0000022]

I believe the security is reduced by this. With which setting, or entry in the SB.ini can I in SB+ 1.42
kill the error message and disable COM+/DCOM?

    Thanks a lot
    Sabine

When using the box type "Security Hardened Sandbox without Data Protection" (orange Box) these error messages do not appear. So if Data Protection is used, maybe a path entry in SB.ini should be set ?

can someone maybe help me ?

    Thanks Sabine,
    Windows11 22/H1 , SB+ 1.50
