Busy as a proverbial Bee in a hive now cold weather is blasting in. First leaf colors, then next comes leaf drop process followed by of course ugly naked branches scenery, well no matter, same routine every year on planet earth for many in autumn season.

I have a question that is guaranteed to relate to every member here in the forums.

Many software's since whenever do this. Please, please. Why for pity sakes is it necessary for many programs to ask a user, right after user's are settled on a choice, click their preferred choice to perform some action does a software respond with the age old question- DO YOU REALLY WANT TO - (FILL IN THE BLANK).

There's too many that do to go into picking examples, but you fantastic member guys and ladies know full well exactly what i mean. Just one example (maybe 2) A user with Process Hacker as an example decides to Terminate a process, click 'Terminate this process', and immediately instead of carrying out your choice, a prompt jumps up to ask you if you want to. Well if you didn't 'want to' you wouldn't have pressed that option in the first place.

I can only assume it's to give that chosen first action an exit ramp to abort. Most of us don't need a software to constantly second guess our decision once we settled on going through with it.

Does anyone share that similar opinion? For me it's annoying and waste of time which makes for just another step to finish the decision that we selected.

At times (using Office products Word or Notepad comes to mind) upon closing a document, I am given the option Save or Don't Save, and if I am not paying careful attention, I realize how easily I could click on the wrong one, especially if in a hurry. And with those products, there is no 'Are you sure?' second chance. I've sometimes wished there was, realizing how easily I could have pressed the wrong choice.
