Thanks- I just realized that i have BOTH uBlock extensions installed in Chrome and alternate them according to results needed.
Not as wise as the guru's on such as of yet, but picking up what i can that's important for a better browsing experience with it.

If these lists are the (only) ones you're using and not the default ones your result is probably not very surprising.

Guys, I believe you are misunderstanding. uBlock does work correctly except for that the extension icon doesn't turn purple (number of blocked ads) when Javascript is disabled. So either this is a bug in Vivaldi or uBlock Origin, and it happens with the latest Vivaldi 5.4.2753.51 version on Win 10 1909, but Windows is not the problem of course. How to report this bug, is Gorhill still active on WSF?

I'm using all the default uBlock Origin filters, Plus 5 more custom filter lists.
UBlock Origin set to advanced user and hard mode.
Basically the same settings & lists I use in Firefox ESR where I score 100 points out of 100.

Very occasionally on Twitter but it's been mainly about his outrage regarding Julian Assange of WikiLeaks or imitators of uBO begging for donations while sitting on piles of cash. :)

Very disappointing, I hate sites like GitHub and crappy Reddit.

Can anyone check whether this UBO rule is bypassed?

(It should not work if the test link is open in a new tab).

    Test:

    https://output.jsbin.com/yuliwoz/quiet

With Chrome 107, this bug should be fixed.

P.S. I deleted the rule, preferring to rely on opening unknown links in a new tab pending testing in Edge 107.

BTW, I believe I asked this before but is there any way to make some kind of rule that will block the blank spaces on The Street website? To clarify, the ads are being blocked correctly but for some reason uBlock never get rids of the blank spaces, which is a bit annoying. I do get to see the images that are hosted by Pinterest if I'm correct, but those aren't ads, although I assume it allows Pinterest to track you on this site, but not a big deal.

So you're saying that you don't get to see any blank spaces on those pages? If yes, then this is seriously weird.
