Guys,I have some doubt that AdGuard MV3 also blocks CNAME trackers if you don't put in custom also list: AdGuard CNAME original trackers list I did some tests with the website below: https://www.mathon.fr/ However, you also check. I noticed that Next DNS also blocks the CNAME tracker in the website above,if the specific feature is enabled. This would be the only method for those using UBO Lite. Those who do not want to use Next DNS should also consider subscribing to: NextDNS CNAME Cloaking Blocklist P.S. So now I have 2 custom lists.
Interesting results @Sampei Nihira - My single severest test are NEWS sites that jump you with Videos whilst scrolling/reading content and so far AdGuard and UblockOrigin with Local CDN is improved the experience.
@Gandalf_The_Grey Kees1958 posted a List specifically for Edge (tracking protection strict) + AdGuard MV3: https://github.com/Kees1958/W3C_annual_most_used_survey_blocklist/blob/master/small_anti-track_list_for Edge_AGMV3.txt P.S. I noticed a curious fact (probably a bug?) ,when subscribing to custom lists it is best to enter lists with few rules first and then those with more rules. Basically, the custom list with more rules than the others should be entered last. My custom lists: My "Dynamic Rules" are reaching high values with only 3 custom lists. If I need to add more lists in the future I will delete the Italian language specific list preferring the one in Next DNS which unfortunately has few rules (219). @Kees1958 Thank you very much.
@Sampei Nihira Thanks, replaced the list from Kee1958 with this one Now 498 of 5000 dynamic rules The only minus is that I score now 80% on the d3ward test...
If you want to achieve a higher test score consider using NEXT DNS (DOH) only in Edge. With only the lists (my lists) I include below: EasyPrivacy oisd your score will increase to 99%. If you want to get a score of 100% you can add: Lightswitch05 - Ads & Tracking But the most important advantage in Edge would be that you can replace the most common lists used in AdGuard MV3. And maybe include more custom lists in the extension.
I'm confused about how to add the AdGuard CNAME Original Trackers list, I pasted this URL in the user list but nothing happened I think I'm missing something here: Code: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/cname-trackers/blob/master/combined_original_trackers.txt Also, does that CNAME list substitute the other lists like AdGuard AdBlocking which is the default one or is it something to add in addition to the Ad Blocking list?
Add custom lists in 2 ways. In the case of the link I put in you have to mouse click on RAW (to the ta right) then copy the link and add it. Other custom lists in FILTERLIST by clicking with the mouse "SUBSCRIBE": Custom lists do not (for now) replace the default lists because we are not allowed to know what the lists are,we can only see the number of rules in each group.
This list has been deleted. Instead, it is possible to subscribe to: https://github.com/Kees1958/W3C_ann.../master/addendum_to_Edge_Firefox_build_in.txt The total rules are now 2754. Previously 4459. P.S. I remind forum members who expect updated rule filters as in UBO MV2 that with Adguard MV3 this is not the case. Currently, filters can only be updated when a new version of the extension is available. So I advise those using AdGuard MV3 possibly to update custom filters manually when there is a considerable update. This is another reason why it is essential to combine the extension with the use of Next DNS whose subscribed lists update automatically.
Now I have too many Dynamic Rules (2801). If I add the Italian language list my Dynamic Rules go to zero. I am forced to subscribe to "Easy List Italy" in Next DNS.

AdGuard Browser extension 4.1.36, Release date: September 21, 2022 https://adguard.com/en/versions/browser-extension/release.html#version-4136
MV3 extension v0.3.12 has been released download at https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adguard-adblocker-mv3-exp/apjcbfpjihpedihablmalmbbhjpklbdf There seems to be a bug as the options window is empty. Can anyone confirm this?
I had another bug with options but looking weird... Uninstall and reinstall the extension solved this for me.
Reported to AG team, as I have tweaked the extension already I can live with the broken options until next build.
Agreed. Now if only there was a way to exclude its custom list from session to session in Sandboxie, like there if with the mv2 version.
