I've had a lifetime licence forever, since PL started, wouldn't be without it. I especially like the new Tree view.

Yup; The latest versions have a 'load balancer' function to allow you to tweak which core does what to whom.

Yeah, and with PrimoCache, you can speedup your workflow a lot.
PrimoCache works on the "block" level for caching, rather than traditional "file cache" what windows uses.
    Highly recommeded.

Are you using it with a hard drive or SSD?

Looks interesting, looks like it needs a thread of it's own ... anyone else tried this?
Worth trying on a 16Gb laptop with 512Gb SSD?

Edit: Read a bit more, probably not appropriate for my use cases.

I'm curious too. I remember the days when ram drives and caches made a big difference for systems with mechanical hard drives, but I don't know if they much matter with SSDs.

PrimoCache is another RAM-Caching software. newer HDD with cache offer same, not sure about the transferrate. its nothing else than guessing for the next or often used data. in times with SSD it has not really gain. and you need a lot more of ram. but if you already have a lot of ram you probably need this ram for extensive usage, eg photoshop'ping or heavy gaming. i consider this piece of software as a very sharp knife for very special usage.

The best software out there, especially if you do some heavy audio/video editing. When properly configured, it can speed your workflow a lot.
Some security solutions does not like PL, because it "peeks" your favorite security solution processes(process taming, changing priorities etc). So first thing to do, is to exclude PL<->AV.
Jeremy usually hardcode most of the AV and some sensitive thirdparty firewall solutions processes to PL.
Yes, i do have legit licence. Jeremy/Bitsum, dan/Voodooshield and @novirusthanks deserves support!
