No, he's trying to say even Microsoft is copying their software so they must be on the right track. quote from original post: “As a technology giant, Microsoft draws lessons from Qihoo 360’s security concept in the security field, which also proves that our security concept is relatively advanced and is on a correct path,” Zhou reportedly said.
Wouldn't be a bit surprised- All those years gone past where Micro Defender was awash in issues and such then one season out of the blue it began to work effectively enough as users needed it to. At least to a point. Odd matter for me personally though. I had used Qihoo 360 and it actually was okay until ransomware made it's debut, and it slipped plum through 360 and commenced encrypting my files until I yanked the plug and went under the hood and deleted the affected files. From that point on I dismissed Qihoo 360 indefinitely. My post detailing that ordeal is right here in the forums in archives if they go back as far as that.
This is the butler software he is referring to, Microsoft Computer Manager. https://inf.news/en/digital/fbf43e12964cde42cea8d31005f16e6f.html https://www.bing.com/guanjia?mkt=zh-CN
Qihoo is not trustworthy for me, not even close. but i wonder why now? The GUI has only change the left sidebar with windows 11, the rest is same. or do they speak about the app? https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/9P6PMZTM93LR vs. https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/360-total-security/9NBLGGH1NP58 sorry, lol, bs
He was not talking about the UI. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/thr...-copying-their-antivirus.446356/#post-3095876
If MS is really copying Q365, then Qihoo should be praud of it. As it's the other way around, when Chinese copying western technology.
