Has anyone ever did an updated comparison of R-Wipe vs PrivaZer? R-Wipe has really been doing a lot of updating and it does seem like a very powerful cleaner for your computer. I know one of the members here did a comparison a long time ago, but has anyone qualified did an updated comparison of these two side by side?

No but I will share my personal COMBO routine which absolutely makes Spindle Drive HDD's run like a top.
I run PrivaZer first and concentrate ONLY on the $MFT indexes etc and R-Wipe next. THEN I use an old favorite no one has a clue can be found at MajorGeeks-Directory Snoop
It shows you IF PrivaZer or any other cleaner that deep left anything behind- MFT specifically here-

THEN perform a full DEFRAGMENT with a choice defragmenter, mine being another neglected software but is massively above all the rest-Ultimate Defrag 6.

Upon completion my web pages noticeable accelerate as well as anything else such as programs, multitasks etc.

PrivaZer hands down wipes the residuals squeaky clean as a whistle :isay: R-Wipe sweeps up plenty of other leftover sessions and systems logs, records such as type URLs and a host of things that probably is of no concern but I like and prefer a well tidy machine with enhanced performance. :)

How would BleachBit compare with the others in terms of thoroughness of cleaning?

I also use BleachBit in my daily cleaning but I am no expert, but I think BleachBit does a better job on HDD's then it does on the SSD's. The one thing I always do with BleachBit is to click on Preferences and check on " Download and update cleaners from community (winapp2.ini)". The only feature that I wish BleachBit had is to "Shut Down Computer When Done" I have tried to message BleachBit about this, and the developer replied saying, it is not on his to do list at this time. So I mostly use PrivaZer and R-Wipe.

Since most my system is Windows 8.1 and spindle platter HDD I highly rely on those cleaner programs and nothing else. Mechanical drives can be finicky and always seem to pile up usage which I can see begins to inhibit performance. Not terribly but enough that it bugged me. Finally settling on those products I already mentioned above I can perform them once a day or few time times daily and when finished everything snaps up quicker and much more efficiently.

Oh I left ONE other out and it's a huge biggie. I also employ HiBit Uninstaller and use it several times a day to clean Junk Files and it's registry cleaner has to be one of the safest I ever experienced.

Thank you for all these great suggestions Easter, and I will try them. Incidentally, I have been in touch with R-TT Technology, the company that offers R-Wipe, and while I was speaking to R-TT, I mentioned Wilders Security Forums. I suggested that they come on and be part of the family. They said they had never heard of Wilders Security Forums, but they will look into it.

I discovered R-Wipe long ago and was very impressed with how intensive the list was of traces and such they uncovered the second your PC starts up and session usages begin. Coupled with PrivaZer and in my case Hi-Bit Uninstaller's junk files cleaner and it's safe Registry Cleaner computing experience is efficient.
