    Hello,

I have been using sandboxie plus for quite some time and since then have experienced issues with links/attachments from other applications such as outlook, skype etc. When I click on the link just nothing happens so I just have to always copy the link manually and paste it into the sandboxed browser.

I can only click on the link if I "pause forcing programs" in the sandboxie tray icon - then the link appears in the sandboxed browser.

Is there a setting to make this more convenient?

    Thanks!

added OpenWinClass=* to the sandbox ini. file and it seems to work properly now.

that is really not recommended by doing so you are allowing sandboxed programs access to all your otehr windows of all the other unsandboxed programs.

You should try to use the resource monitor to find out what exactly needs to be opened.

replaced with "OpenWinClass=vivaldi.exe,Chrome_MessageWindow" and working as well.

Though I now have to find out why my Outlook2019 crashes under sandboxie causing lots of WerFault messages in the log.

unfortunately opening links/attachments from other unsandboxed applications now only work if there is no instance of sandboxed Vivaldi already running.

If Vivaldi is already sandboxed and running, nothing opens up. I could see though that in sandboxie control certain vivaldi.exe processes start but are immediatelly closed.

Seems there is no real fix for this. Bummer.

after some research it seems that the problem has to do with enforcement of the browser to be run in the sandbox at launch. When the first instance of the browser was enforced to run sandboxed no links or attachments from other unsandboxed applications won't work.

I figured out that a way to bypass this is to use the sandboxie function "Run any program sandboxed". In order to not have to choose a sandbox and type in the browser.exe every time I made a lnk file to desktop that says "C:\Program Files\Sandboxie-Plus\start.exe" /box:sandboxname "path to browser.exe" as target.

This seems to have fixed it entirely for now.
