I stopped using them awhile ago too. For one thing they have an office in the USA so for a US citizen you can't get a bigger red flag!! Protonmail does at least have an onion page where you can safely sign in and there is NO IP to trace using their onion link.

Works just fine for me and considering the spam filter in tutanota is very ineffective,protonmail shall now be my main email service.
I've been using their e-mail freebie now since their inception with no hitches. From what I've gleaned via web reviews about their VPN, I'll either stick with Surfshark or maybe move on to NordVPN. Proton's free email service is stellar imo and frequently updated. Definitely worth a spin.

oh my. this is IMO unacceptable for serious email provider like proton :-(. just yesterday I was recommending them to my friend that need good email and want's to escape from gmail.
They do seem to suffer from an inordinately high amount of gremlins. They always have a plausible excuse though. Proton, I mean. I'm not sure what the gremlins claim. Although I'm guessing the gremlins probably use a more reliable email.
I use protonmail.Been using it for a couple of years and had no issues with it and never get any spam.
I just started using Proton mail a couple of days ago as I post this. Proton mail requires a "bridge" if used with MS Outlook. But it is very easy to set up. Will post if I encounter any issues.
