I used to use that too! May revert, as a matter of interest, are you using stable v7.5 or v7.5.1 beta?

So this only effects Windows 11 right?

Windows 10 users will still be able enable SMB1 support?

Should it not be easier to click on the "View" item on the toolbar, go to "Show", then check or uncheck the items as needed? Not wanting to pick on anyone, but in case anyone missed it the option should be there.

yeah but in so doing you are just setting that option for that window
this registry way of doing you set for all windows
I hate having to click on view, but thats me I don't like (hate) unnecessary steps, especially if this is daily task

I'm feeling that this is going to lose some functionality if it is "web based". That said I'm hoping ti will fix some of the issues Outlook has had from the beginning. I would be nice if I could delete an email once instead of having it keep returning to the deleted items folder. It seems to be a mostly IMAP issue but I guess I am assuming this will even do IMAP.

the detail pane mentioned there is something different unfortunately, this tweak will not bring back these two icons at the bottom right

figured you can press SHIFT+CTRL+1 or another number but still miss the icons

these icons are on by default, I just disabled them somehow

I am less and less enthusiastic about upgrading to W.11 in 2025.
I will probably convert my pc to Linux.
It will be the first time in my life that I will not have a Windows-based pc at home.

Windows 11 will likely not be the current OS in 2025. But I agree, if I did not work in IT I would probably already be using Linux.

Dev build 25120. When you click Search on the taskbar you now get this. Because we all needed more Bing.

That reminds me of Bing Bong, lol. Google makes money of well google and MS of Bing, so it only makes sense they want to gently suggest people to use it. I think I use dozen policies in Edge alone to disable Bing's features.

I use even now on w7 and w10 few tools from Stardock https://www.stardock.com/products/
Fences - Panel for icons like in KDE
Start11 - Customize Start Menu that what you wanna
Groupy - You can pin all software to 1 tab panel like in linux
Curtains - used to change style like in old good Aero glass.

And Wallpaper Engine for change animated wallpaper in background.

Is that pretty stable? Similar programs in the past would freeze or crash.
