    It has long been known that BTC is not anonymous IF the user is clueless about the internet of things. IP's are stored during transactions, but such a trail can easily be masked by any advanced user. Acquired coins can easily be washed, CoinJoin'd, or exchanged for other coins with no trace back to the participant. YES -- its not that way for a newbie user, which many if not most are!
