    @B..... Good grief. Sorry about that. Win 11/64. I already had most recent FF installed. Thought I could overwrite with site mentioned by nicolassjan.

    Understand. I do not agree with the way Mozilla has been going for awhile now, so I do not use it any longer. This is just another reason why I will not.

    From ghacks.net article; comment by Tom Hawack:

    I've reset both.

    [Edit]
    There's also:
    Code:
    app.normandy.user_id
    Which I suppose was not used any more here, since I disabled normandy in the past.
    I've reset the value nevertheless.

    FWIW, the Linux downloads from their Home page don't have the dltoken.
    Each download has the same checksum.

    normandy, telemetry
    Code:
    {
      "policies": {
        "DisableFirefoxStudies": true,
        "DisableTelemetry": true
      }
    }
    (deleted the comma)

    Thanks! :)

    Enabling policies never crossed my mind.
    Your example threw an error, so I used the Enterprise Policy Generator for it and now it's this in policies.json:
    Code:
    {
      "policies": {
        "DisableFirefoxStudies": true,
        "DisableTelemetry": true
      }
    }
    This works (note the absence of the last comma).

    Alphabetical rather than numeric... At least it's the first thing you see when you get there. Thanks for the head's up. :thumb:
