Okay I was browsing and clicking on links and videos is opening tabs windows to www.saynotorussia.info which would otherwise go to ads. I guess the hacking has started.

 

Sometimes CORS may get in the way.
This kind of behavior is using yours ISP resources also. ISP may or may not block you from Internet depending on contractual agreement clauses and whether they use systems to automatically detect malicious traffic from end points.

 

most of the russia news websites are offline you can always help keep them offline (use vpn or tor)

I wonder if they are truly offline or just cut traffic from western countries. I can see that #anonymous may see latter as a partial victory anyway

 

got 3 machines running with vpn's from different countries, one in Russia and I cannot get to the sites when im in russia either

 

I've looked (Googled). But I haven't found a video link to Anonymous's taking credit for this. A link to this would be appreciated.
