I hope I'm not the only denizen of Wilders who is using MX Linux. I'm having a problem with MX Tweak -- I can't get it to save my Display settings. I read the Help file. No joy.
Hi Bellgamin, I'm using MX-21 KDE. I think you are using XFCE? I don't have display settings under MX Tweak, but rather under System->System Settings->Display Configuration. They retain fine for me.
Yes, I'm using XFCE. XFCE doesn't have System->System Settings->Display Configuration. However, your comment DID get me to loook around a bit more at XFCE's apps, & I came across an app named Display Settings. That one actually DID save my settings. So my problem is solved. THANKS for the very helpful nudge!!!
You're welcome @bellgamin Maybe you noticed and already used it, but there is a Search menu at the bottom of the Start menu. I've used it to good effect in finding things Hopefully it's available in XFCE.
I always used Xfce (Xubuntu, MX) and one thing I do on every fresh install is to go through all the settings, one by one.
