"VPNLab.net, a VPN provider that was used by malicious actors to deploy ransomware and facilitate other cybercrimes, was taken offline following a coordinated law enforcement operation.

Mixed feelings here. My vpn1 provider (in my chain) has over ten thousand members connected at this exact instant. I suspect most are like me wanting some very basic privacy and trying to avoid ISP level snooping, etc....... However; obviously with a connection number that large there are several connections which could be/are labelled as "bad actors" whatever that means. Quite often a vpn provider will have to suspend a physical server in a specific country when local law enforcement climbs up in their grill looking for a criminal. Its shocking to shut down a worldwide bank of servers over this. [Popcorn]!!!
