So far I found only one online store that sells a *fairly* wide selection of Linux distros on USB Flash. That one is Shop Linux Online. However, their selection is rather limited when it comes to distros on USB flash (which is the media I prefer).

Does anyone know of any other online places to buy Linux distros on USB? Even if their array of USB-based distros is limited, they might have some that Shop Linux Online does not have.

To be honest I always just downloaded the iso and made a bootable Usbstick with rufus. https://rufus.ie/en/
For my default tries years ago with mint, ubuntu or so it worked good. Afaik it was easy and painless.
Sorry if that doesn't help you I just tought maybe you didn't know rufus :)

I think Distrowatch.com has them. In fact I'm sure they do.

@zapjb -- I checked Distrowatch.com carefully. I was unable to find distros for sale anywhere on that site.

@Freki123 & @Brian K -- I did as you suggested but I used Etcher instead of Rufus for *burning* ISO to USB. Etcher is MUCH simpler.

The Rufus/Etcher road is fine if you want a distro [one only] on your USB.
But if you would like multiple distros on your USB then the way to go is Ventoy.

I've had good experiences with both Rufus and Balena Etcher.

I noticed on the installation guide their reference to checking / verify the iso image and authenticate. Do you really need to download another program for this purpose. Normally I can just compare the hash of the software via properties in explorer to the
official hash on the download site? Their instructions also refer to a Windows installer for GnuPG and a number of commands that need to be run -- just for having a bootable stick?
