    Maybe a (wrong?) work policy.

    @ to all

Have you noticed this setting that is disabled by default?

    @Gandalf_The_Grey

states elsewhere that it would be the Super Duper mode.
But I had already enabled the flag.........

No, I only have Edge in a Windows 10 virtual machine, but I rarely use it in there.
On Linux I won't install Edge.

No, I don't recall ever seeing that setting before. Although I don't normally use MSEdge I have enabled the setting and set it to Strict.

Thanks for the heads-up, guys. :thumb:

I just noticed a PITA with the latest Edge. Clicking on the three dots > Extensions no longer opens the Manage Extensions page. To get there you need to click on Manage Extensions in the jigsaw puzzle drop down menu.

Hum, that's strange. It works here. Try hiding the jigsaw icon, which is what I usually do.

No, that didn't help. Now it is going to take one more click after hiding the jigsaw icon.

If I right click in the toolbar area I can go straight to Manage Extensions.

I just updated Edge and see what you mean. Jigsaw must be enabled on toolbar now for easiest access to extensions page. Possibly more convenient but with more visual bloat.

I put a bookmark in the bookmarks toolbar:
    Code:
    edge://extensions

    Another option:
three dots > Extensions > right click = Manage Extensions > left click = Extensions page.

That's 3 clicks vs 2 via jigsaw and the additional clutter.

It seems right clicking the jigsaw piece icon > Manage Extensions seems to be the easiest way to manage extensions, but as noted earlier, you have to put up with the extra clutter.

Or make a bookmark of the most used pages like:
    edge://extensions/
    edge://favorites/
    edge://history/all

Edge (auto-)updates the addons and does not inform me whats new. I prefer how Firefox updates the addons.
