I did a big mistake. I deleted my log in Google Chrome. I need to bring it back. I search internet for different ways to undo deleted log. I tried, but cannot bring it back. I tried everything except from software. Is there a reliable software that can help me?
I did a scan with Recuva Free. Lots of files. I dont know what I am looking for. I checked hundreds of files. Most of them looks like this: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Code Cache\js\ Recuva aks me for location to recover. I dont know what to do. I am afraid to mess things up.
Don't recover files to the same drive as you deleted them on. If you deleted the files to the recycle bin and then emptied the bin try scanning just for that. See here https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/2216/restore-accidentally-deleted-files-with-recuva/

I tried but it did not help. Recuva actually did not recover any of the files. I dont know what went wrong. I may just give up. The most important thing i wanted to recover was a messenger bookmark. It worked like this: when I opened this messenger bookmark, it went straight to messenger inbox without the need for login og password on my desktop. Old account. I dont remember the password. I was logged into Facebook account a couple of years ago. I did a copy of all Facebook activity and information on this Facebook account. It took hours to create. It created a zipfile I stored on my desktop. I still have it. Somehow by opening this file I realised it could be opened in my browser. Without the need for login og password. I dont use this account very often. But sometimes I really need it. Now, after I deleted the log in Chrome, when I open the messenger bookmark I come to page where I have to login. But of course without password I cannot. Thats bad, because I probably have unread messages there. And some contacts I need.
chrome dont has a log file in its profile. are you refering to the history? i probably then have no good news for you - it might already be overwritten from chrome. to recover passwords - let it send to you by email, this mostly would mean to reset the current and get a new one.
