If you run Windows 10 Professional (with access to the local group policy editor,) there’s another way to upgrade to 21H2. Click on the search box and type in edit group policy.
Launch the console and browse to Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Windows Components>Windows Update, and finally get to Windows Update for Business.
At the bottom, you should see “Select the target Feature Update version.” Click to enable and enter in 21H2.
Now open your Windows Update settings (Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update) and select Check for updates.

Just updated to Win10 21H2, not a big deal as it was faster than any ordinary update (virtually less than 30 seconds) , I think they didn't do anything except changing the edition name to 21H2.

Fine anon, but I still can't tell of any differences or new activated features. The main thing for me is that everything seems to be working normally...

I wonder if people whose machines are not compatible with Win 11 will be last in the queue to get 21H2

Well I was wrong. This machine is not compatible with Win 11 but I have just been offered and updated to the 21H2 update.
The last couple of days I've been doing a manual 'check for updates'.. nothing. Did it again now ..nothing.
Then I looked under 'view optional updates' (usually just lists drivers) and there it was waiting :)

I've been running 21H2 on a PC on the Release Preview ring for a while. Since they kicked everyone not capable of Windows 11 off the beta channel. What does it bring for the average home user? Nothing. Literally nothing. Ok, maybe an updated description of your Windows version. Nothing else you would notice.
