Yes, and the good news is that I received responses from both AdGuard and HMP. An AdGuard QA person said "We'll been solving this problem", and HitmanPro tech support said "We've allowed these and are working on a more structured solution for this as this detection seems to re-appear after an upgrade on AdGuard side". I do recall having similar issues with HMP and HMP.A six months ago (April 21, 2021) when AdGuard released 7.6 and 7.6.1 upgrades. Hopefully the two companies resolve these issues.

When I posted above that a reboot was required, I had only updated on one machine. Now I have updated to 7.7.1 on both machines and I can report that both required a reboot. Go figure.
drivers cannot be exchanged when in use, so some program is using the line thus adguard is active, or not properly shut down. i have same issue with sandboxie, in most times now since David is working on it, i needed to reboot, only 1 or 2 updates without reboot, thats kinda annoying these modern times because windows has the ability to unload drivers.
AdGuard Supports Zoom Popularity by Blocking Ads There November 16, 2021 https://adguard.com/en/blog/zoom-advertising-program.html
I'm on Adguard 7.7.2 could somebody kindly check if there Adguard DNS works for them on https://browserleaks.com/ip ? I mean Adguard > Settings > DNS Protection (activate) > Adguard DNS >Protocol DNS-over-QUIC // or "DNS Crypt" For me it seems I got some problems even after an complete uninstall and reinstall. ipconfig /flushdns and reboots didn't help either.
@Azure Phoenix Thanks for the link. It says it's working but the thing is I can still see my ISP on browserleaks. When it would work the way it should i shouldn't be able to see my ISP there at all.
@imdb I have Brave installed but the test was done in Firefox. I just got an support reply about another Adguard problem I opened three weeks ago. I just took the chance and added it to my list of problems So now I hope the can find stuff in the debug log. Thanks for all the answers.
if you have doh enabled in fox with default settings, then that could be the culprit. because it uses your isp's dns servers with default settings unless you manually set up a third party dns service provider in your network devices.
Fox got no DNS/DOH settings enabled. I only change my DNS with Adguards options // or if its broken again for me via "manually set up a third party dns service provider in your network devices." And I make sure that only one is active at all times. So it's either adguard dns (if it's working) or adguard dns is disabled and I use network settings (not both). I never touch DNS settings in any browser.
