It's time to dump Chrome as your default browser on Android

Edge on the other hand does not get much love even on Windows, so I guess it is a good choice from a security point.

 

I switched to brave a year or so ago on desktop and my Pixel, haven't looked back! brave search is also fantastic (and secure/private)

Edge Chromium I use for Work only (but with brave search)

 

Had switched to Firefox Lite til it was unsupported, now using XBrowser.

 

I tried alternatives on Android, including Dolphin and Maxthon. I liked Dolphin but ended up just using Chrome as there isn't much difference between them.

 

I've set Samsung Internet Browser as default to keep KSC happy but I much prefer Brave on Android.

 

I prefer to use Opera.

 

I have Chrome installed but rarely open it. I often wonder how much it increases my surface attack area just by having it installed and not using it. I also wonder if I would notice any performance difference by not having any of the related services installed. I had a laptop at one point where the software reporter tool never stopped running.
