    I have never liked Free Download Manager, didn't even know they offered YouTube downloads. But Google should stop with this nonsense, there is nothing wrong with downloading videos for personal use.

    I don't know if it mobile only or all platforms but I believe Google wants you to subscribe to YouTube Premium to get the download feature.

    Yes, this is probably the problem. So I'm supposed to pay 12 euro a month to get a download feature and to stop annoying me with ads? Sorry that's a bit too expensive.

    google does not matter here, there exist a lot of other solutions to grab videos from youtube, including other download managers, or websites. dont know how FDM made it through the years, as they become an ad and download platform and crippled FDM pro to free (i had a pro license).
