    The security measures present in Firefox are sufficient in Linux.
    Firefox outperforms chrome-based browsers in the privacy aspect.
    Users who are concerned about phishing which has the same incidence in Linux as in Windows can increase their protection with DNS + dedicated lists in the adblocker.

    Yeah,
    I get it from;
    https://chromium.woolyss.com/#linux
    And then the build from Marmaduke. GitHub repo here:
    https://github.com/macchrome/linchrome/releases
    The others I've tried didn't work, because they are built against newer shared libraries I don't have.

    Maybe he has an encrypted /home partition as well.
    Or the whole drive encrypted with VeraCrypt.

    I had to change distro.
    Unfortunately our HP printer was not recognized.
    I tried, without success, also with Xubuntu 20.04 LTS + latest version of HPlip.

    My daughter's pc has 4 GB of RAM:

    Immagine1.png

    I don't consider necessary the use of the Ram Cache.
    I have effected many tests and the use of the slow swap is practically absent, therefore I want to use all the RAM that the pc has.
    I have set Firefox for the cleaning of the cache to the exit:

    Abandoned permanently the use of BeachBit for the exclusive cleaning of the browser only.;):)

    The pc is noticeably more responsive than when the installed OS was Windows 10 21H1.

    -Andy Ful's Hard_Configurator set to High, Windows_10_Strict_Recommended_Settings.hdc enabled, and Firewall Hardening rules enabled
    -OSArmor w/several added protections enabled
    -Windows Defender
    -Terabyte Image for Windows for backups

    -Removed Malwarebytes Windows Firewall Control due to suspected crippling of network connection, after an image restore. Resolving this was a painstaking ordeal that lasted several hours :(

    I've been having peculiar network issues lately too, like websites taking forever to load if at all, videos sometimes playing fine, but at other times they would play for a while until it stopped loading.

    HitMan Pro is scheduled to run a scan every day. After today's scan HMP said I needed to reset winsock, then restart my machine. Did that.

    So far since then all seems back to normal.

    Long story short, I ended up uninstalling all security apps, then reset network setting so I could install recent MS updates, then reinstalled only H_C and OSArmor.

    @LoneWolf
    are you still using Raxco Instant Recovery?
    And have you found anything better, than Raxco
    And how much disk space does Raxco take up?

    And what is your opinion on Ashampoo Backup
    This is what they say, as follow:
    "Ashampoo website"
    "Once your PC becomes infected, e.g. through malware, or your hard disks crash or malfunction, your operating system is done for–with reinstalling Windows plus all of your programs being the only path to go forward, unless you have a clean backup! Ashampoo® Backup Pro 16 will save hours of time and effort. The built-in rescue system will boot your PC either from DVD or flash drive and help you restore your system so that your PC works normally again. It's the end of data loss!"
    Your thoughts or would Macrium Reflect be a better?

    @EASTER
    ERP 4 Can you provide a link? So that look it
    over, please? Kind regards,

    Yes but I reduced it to 40.
    I also disabled hibernation.
    I don't have an SSD but a very large HD.
    I have not modified the swap = 2.0GB.
    My physical RAM is 4.0GB.
