I use AOMEI, and it works very fine, but I have a question: I have a SSD: when I restore a system or a partition image, it overwrite exactly the previous written sector ? I mean: now I create a new system/partition backup and immediately I restore the created image: will it overwrite exactly sector by sector my system ?

If so, restoring an image it's also a way to delete all I had in my system before the restore.

Yes it deletes everything and you can find that option in, Settings - Backup mode.

Not sure if Aomei can create a sector-by-sector backup, acronis can do. And that way it is recovered, sector backup is needed!

I think it is capable but it requires the paid version if you don't already have it. I just tried this with the free version yesterday and it doesn't allow it.
