Given WiseVector's track record, I'm sure the issue will be fixed soon.

Mine said ''streaming updates'' and then at the end said configuration file had failed.

I dunno if their update streaming server is in operation around the clock but many time right after an update, I update again, and I always get another "configuration file" transfer only seconds after the first completes. Manually of course.

    Hi @stapp

Thanks for your feedback, the problem was caused by an expired SSL certificate, we replaced the main upgrade server's certificate but forgot to replace the other upgrade server's certificate, now the problem has been fixed.

Can it be installed over the top of present version, or should it be a clean install?

@WiseVector Do you guys have a changelog of all the new stuff and technology? would be good to know. I see web protection but nothing for "cloud protection" was it implemented?

@WiseVector Correct if i am wrong i would guess the malicious website protection is more based off a "defined blacklist of webites that are malicious/fraud/fake" ? I guess this feature is still in its very early days as i threw couple links at it (couple malware and couple phishing websites etc) didn't get anything from WVSX.

Haven't got a chance to look at the HIPS yet pretty sure it will be as solid as the BB.

So turning off advanced malware detection also switches off the HIPS ! That makes it a little difficult to throw malware at HIPS component alone. Would be nice to have that as a seperate component and not included into advanced protection. WVSX is already pretty damn hard to get some malware through it.

Also the network protection stuff has a bit more priority over the behaviour guard etc? I like the risk meter seems very accurate.

I had an incidental Emsisoft intervention running the installer for WSX v3.00 beta:

Not there yet to my Windows 10 but on 8.1 the WVSX is still light as a feather and also exhibiting super reflex! I only have a meager 4GB memory but it's INSTANT to react!

Very tempted to unleash ransomware Cerber, Hades, and others to gauge that response since it sure reacts in less than a wink of the eye so far.
